Maximizer CRM Central

I'm upgrading with Vista 64 to Win 7. I'm concerned Max 10 won't work as I've found it to be a very unfriendly software over all. Did you upgrade from Vista 32 or 64? My upgrade suggests that i use the second installation CD and not do a clean install. I'd appreciate your thoughts since you seem to have done this successfully. Thanks

I'm running Vista 64 and have had no luck inporting any signature or vcard even though I was told at ordering it's as easy as ACT. I use multiple signatures for marketing based on the target client. Max reformats all my signatures to look like crap. Max also crashes on me after sending several emails during the day. I'm trying to stay positive

Act lets you build all types of searchable fields and screens. After using Max for about 8 months I'd say ACT is much easier but had used it for many years. I don't mind the clumsiness in MAX, it's that like of some things just working at all like email signatures.

Max is suited for my trash can. I've used higher levels of CRM packages and this does not come close. MS Contact Manager does better than MAX and close to the same close plus you know it will link with Outlook.

Tony, You may have to upgrade to Outlook 2007. I think you can get a trial copy which would let you test this theory before buying. I've had many issues with Max10. i can email but if I do any merging the auto sig file is not formatted correctly even though I 'm using an HTML file as the online instructions suggest. You're having more luck than me. My email sig is coming out as one line. I've tried both the so called "solutions' of using html breaks or inserting html files. Neither worked. Personally I think Max 10 is a complete joke but I'm stuck with it for now. What type of email sig are you using? Maybe you can email me directly so i can

Wrong again! Even creating an HTML file and attaching it as Max instuctions still does not work. Neither does the other solutions they offer of using html breaks in the standard signature window. I'm open for ideas. Thanks,

I found the answer after my post. Max has "an issue" with this. Just another in the many reasons I wish I had not purchased Maximizer. Very dissappointed in this software.

I set me email sig up but when an email comes in to my client the format is all changed and runs together. I use a marketing message above the contact info and none of the format stays in place. Any ideas? Am i missing something simple? Thanks,

I finally gave up and just began editing the names under the business name as I work with each contact. Another issue you may want to watch for is the "my record" mail merge field for "my phone" . I all my templates Max brings my phone number in in the wrond format! I get 6203086775 as opposed to 620-308-6775. All other phone and
