    Password for SQL user maximizer_default?

The other day and I noticed that MaxExchange was causing a bad-password entry in the SQL logs every couple of hours. Taking the entry at face value I thought I would just make sure the username had the default maxexchange password but now MaxExchange won't connect to SQL at all - so obviously the password for maximizer_defaiult is not maxexchange! I cannot find anywhere what the password is for maximizer_default - tried maximizer, control, maconfig, and masystem, upper and lower case, all without success. My service provider does not have an answer either. Can anyone help?

Re: Password for SQL user maximizer_default?

I have worked around it - renamed maximizer_default user in SQL then uninstalled the MaxServer app. On reinstall it recreated the maximizer_default user and used the existing MACONFIG database.

Re: Password for SQL user maximizer_default?

I have had continual problems with Maximizer passwords. Is there any way, in almost unbeleivably simple terms, to

kill the password requirement, or at least make the MASTER/CONTROL work with all the databases. I have 3 at the moment,

all started out life with MASTER/CONTROL password etc, but have now changed themselves to something else, I know not what.

This means I have to start a new database each time as I can no longer access the previous databases. I only bought the program

in February!! Thank goodness I backup on a stick. BUT very annoying all the same.

I believe you can change the MASTER password directly in SQL if you need. Remember that all Maximizer passwords need to be stored in upper-case...

I have the exact same problem. How do I just eliminate the password requirement? I'm not familiar with sql but this problem did not exist with my previous versions of maximizer.I now use entrepreneur 10.0. This is very frustrating!

    thanks
