&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m stumped and would really appreciate any help and expertise you can lend to my challenge:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m running Maximizer 9 on XP. I had to wipe my hard drive and reinstall XP. Now the only address books available from within Maximizer are the sample address books.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve been able to work around the situation for the most part by double clicking the MXZU file from Windows explorer or from within maximizer by hitting the explore button and selecting the MXZU file from there.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, I have forms on my website that send me an .mti file by email. I doubleclick the .mti file and it opens maximizer and asks me to select an address book.&amp;nbsp; In this dialog box, there&amp;#39;s no explore option and the only address books available are the sample ones.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve tried putting my address book in the samples file, but it still doesn&amp;#39;t show up in the list.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I went into properties and gave myself full permissions per a knowledgebase article re giving the Limited Access user account explicit permissions to all Maximizer Address Book folders and the Pervasive folder. I did this even though it didn&amp;#39;t seem to apply to my situation since the scenario it addresses involves not being able to open address books that ARE listed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;d be so grateful for any help with my question.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We then uninstalled the old Maximizer version from the workstation and installed the new version.&amp;nbsp; Everything went well after removing some of the old files manually.&amp;nbsp; However, when we connect to address book on the workstation, we cannot see the server at all.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We checked the MS SQL configuration.&amp;nbsp; The TCP/IP is enabled.&amp;nbsp; We can ping the workstation from the server and vice versa.&amp;nbsp; The network is properly set up as we can view all network connections from My Network Places.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the .Cfg file, we find that the DB_SERVER points to the local server and DB_SYS_TYPE=PervasiveSQL.&amp;nbsp; Probably this is because when Max CRM 11 was first installed, the Pervasive database was still there, but we cannot say whether this is the reason or not.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When we open the SQL Server Configuration Manager on the server, the SQL Server is set to Local System, SQL Server Agent is stopped and SQL Server Browser is set to Local Service.&amp;nbsp; Does the SQL Server has to be set to Network Service?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any help is appreciated!&lt;/p&gt;

running on my desktop PC with Windows XP Pro.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;
&lt;/span&gt;I just bought a replacement PC so I&amp;rsquo;m running a practice install on my spare
laptop (before I attempt this on the new desktop machine) since in the past,
Maximizer consultants have set up the program for me.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;My
laptop has a Windows Vista OS.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I intend
to install Maximizer and then upload backup data from my desktop PC.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;My first step of this process was that I downloaded and
installed MS SQL Server 2008 onto my laptop.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;
&lt;/span&gt;Then, I attempted to install Maximizer by inserting my Maximizer Setup
CD in my laptop&amp;rsquo;s disc drive.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;The
computer went through what appeared to be the motions of installation, but it
wouldn&amp;rsquo;t complete the installation (&amp;ldquo;1628: Failed to complete installation&amp;rdquo;).&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;So I&amp;rsquo;m
now trying it again.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;The only difference
is that this time, I attempted to install ecBuilder Pro 6.0 Lite BEFORE
installing Maximizer.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;After I inserted my Maximizer disc, I clicked onto Install
ecBuilder Pro 6.0 lite, but I was unable to do so.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;The error message reads &amp;ldquo;The contents of this
file cannot be unpacked.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;The executable
you are attempting to run has been corrupted.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;
&lt;/span&gt;Please obtain another copy of the file, verify its integrity and try
again.&amp;rdquo;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m relatively new to Maximiser. I work in the Healthcare industry where doctors and specialists have multiple associations with different hospitals and medical practices. For instance the following could easily apply to a contact I&amp;#39;m wanting to track in Maximiser.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dr John Smith is a specialist surgeon. He operates at three different hospitals, one day surgery and two practices.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;On Mondays to Wednesdays he spends time at the three different hospitals. On Thursdays &amp;amp; Fridays he&amp;#39;s at the 2 Practices and once a month he operates at the Day surgery.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;At one of the hospitals he is the Director of Cardiology. At another one he is a Cardiologist and at the third he is a VMO (Visiting Medical Officer)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;At one of the Practices he is the CEO, as well as a Cardiologist. At the other practice he is a Consulting Physician in a non-management capacity, although he has some support staff there.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;At the day surgery he acts as a physician on a contract basis with minimal involvement with any staff.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He is also the head of a state based medical organisation for Cardiologists, as well he sits on the baord of a charitable organisation that meets once per month and he&amp;#39;s also on the board of one of the hospitals he works at.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Now I want to note all of these organisations (i.e. Hospital 1, 2 &amp;amp; 3 plus Practice 1 &amp;amp; 2 plus the Day Surgery plus the Cardio organisation plus the charity) and I want to be able to show this individual&amp;#39;s presence underneath each of them (i.e. I have them all in Maximiser as &amp;quot;companies&amp;quot; and have this individual noted as a &amp;quot;contact&amp;quot; in each of them).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;CAN THIS BE DONE OR AM I KIDDING MYSELF TRYING TO DO THIS IN MAXIMISER?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I also want to be able to move contacts like this one between &amp;quot;companies&amp;quot;. Why can&amp;#39;t I just pick them up and move them? It seems to be a major challenge to relocate someone or change their &amp;quot;company&amp;quot;. I can convert people from &amp;quot;contacts&amp;quot; to &amp;quot;individuals&amp;quot; but moving them to another company seems to be almost impossible without deleting them and recreating them.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The very essence of Sales 101 for me is that people buy from people. When those people move I want to take them to their new role without losing all the history associated with my relationship with them. I also want to be able to note the numerous physical addresses a singel indivdual may have working at multiple locations. And then when an individual like the one I described above changes just part of their &amp;quot;employment&amp;quot; (i.e. the doctor may cease working as a VMO at hospital number 3 and start at a totally different hospital in a different capacity) I want to be bale to alter just this aspect of them without needing to throw the baby out with the bathwater!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Could someone please help me here and point me to any &amp;quot;how to&amp;quot; guides or whitepapers on how best to do this. Maximiser is my company&amp;#39;s chosen CRM so I can&amp;#39;t just jump to another system. I&amp;#39;m looking for a way to use it, even if I have to fudge the process somewhat in order to get a workable result. For instance I&amp;#39;m already using notes to record ancillary details about an individual&amp;#39;s additional relationships, but this is hardly best practise as much of what ends up in there won&amp;#39;t be reportable. I&amp;#39;m also using the &amp;quot;relate&amp;quot; function but it appears to have limited capability too.&lt;/p&gt;

Each time I try to log into the database it seems that the tables are all blank. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I am new to Maximizer so step-by-step guidance would be helpful. &lt;p&gt;My straightforward approach was to use Administrator -&amp;gt; Utilities -&amp;gt; Back Up Address Book and create a backup file on machine A - BU.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I then copy BU to machine B, where I create a new address book on its MAXIMIZER&amp;nbsp;-&amp;nbsp; NEW.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I then try to&amp;nbsp;do a restore on NEW using Administrator and the backup file BU, but it doesn&amp;#39;t work.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Furthermore, I can no longer login to NEW using the default userid MASTER and password control.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What am I missing here? It would seem to me that the key objective of a backup-restore process is to do what I just tried, multiple times, but without success.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Does anybody have any suggestions of what to try?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Will be much appreciated.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;All entries are present and contacts are shown in Contacts tab at the bottom of the screen.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Click File/Export/Address Book/ Name the file and choose CSV and include field names&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;CSV is created but does not contain the Contacts information&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Under reports I can select to include contacts but then I cannot choose the report to be generated in CSV format.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How do I get the Address book along with corrosponding Contacts into a CSV file?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Hello, I have been using MXZ for years now and for the most part have had good experiences. I&amp;#39;ve had some bad that were not addressed but it happens.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When I send emails I usually attach PDF&amp;#39;s and send them via Outlook from my Maximizer contacts window. I&amp;#39;ve recently sent 200 emails and tried putting the document into the &amp;quot;body&amp;quot; of the email message. I sent it as &amp;quot;individual emails&amp;quot; (instead of one email to all with &amp;quot;bcc&amp;quot;) and noticed it took forever. Everything sent fine.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I backed up my database and noticed it took a long time. I then looked at the SQL database file (.mdl) and saw that it had grown from about 60 mb in size to 700,000 mb in size. I presumed this was the result of all the &amp;quot;individual&amp;quot; emails sent with the document embedded in the body of the email. I looked at each of the 200 addresses and deleted all of the pertinent emails. I then backed the database up and restored it. The backed up database is only about 65 mb in size. The restored database it still at about 700,000 mb in size. I expected it to be alot smaller (similiar to it&amp;#39;s initial size prior to the mass email).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any ideas as to what I can do to reduce the size of the database or, find where the emails are hidden and delete them?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any help is appreciated..&lt;/p&gt;
