Choosing a Contact in the Contact window and clicking Preference I have the following;
The "Opening an Address Book entry displays this" drop down menu is set to "Edit Basic Information"
The address format box shows;
{First_Name?} {Last_Name?}
{Company?}
{Address_Line_1?}
{Address_Line_2?}
{City?} {State_Province?} {Zip?}
{Country?}
Envelopes and Lables are still showing;
Company
first and last Name
Position
Company
Address
City State Zip
If I remove {Company?} and try to print an envelope for a contact, it still prints the Company Name 1 time. However, if I try to print an envelope to a Company (without a Contact) it only prints the Address and City State Zip lines.
Somehow, when I print a Contact Envelope or Label, the Company field is being inserted even when the field is not present in the Preferences window.
Again, when the Company field is removed from the Preference window, it still prints once with a contact, but not at all when directed to a Company without a Contact.
This is a recent development. I have printed thousands of envelopes over the years and only had this problem for the last two weeks.
Any other ideas?
